JOB DESCRIPTION

UN OVERVIEW OF THE MANDATE :

Carry out activities to prevent accidents and occupational illnesses; Plan and lead internal OHS training sessions and follow up on mandatory training; Coordinate the activities of the OHS committee and follow up on recommendations; Conduct regular inspections, incident investigations, and risk analyses, and implement effective actions; Manage CNESST, WSIB, and WSCC files in collaboration with the mutual insurance company; Be the point person for training and development; Follow up on disabilities; Maintain a regular presence in the field to identify employee trends and concerns and report them to the HR team.

GENERAL SKILLS

YOU ARE THE PERSON WE ARE LOOKING FOR IF :

You have a degree in health and safety, human resources, or equivalent; 3 to 5 years of experience in the field; Proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge of an HRIS/ATS (an asset); Bilingual in both spoken and written English and French; Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations; In-depth knowledge of health and safety trends and practices.
