Responsibilities:
Advertise, recruit, screen, hire and onboard new employees
Coordinate, manage, and organize company travel and accommodation requirements
Implement, book and manage company training as applicable
Liaise with payroll, safety, job teams, and other departments
Liaise with First Nations partnerships and local communities to promote and report on local hiring
Assist with Administration of benefits program
Participate in Career/Job Fairs for PVC
Promote and Participate in Community and Office Social Events
The successful candidate will have:
Office and Administrative Experience
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to handle confidential information discreetly
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
Knowledge with HR and Payroll is an asset
Understand BC Labour and compensation laws
Strong team player with positive attitude
Have an excellent working knowledge of office systems
Be able to work full time in our Terrace office
