Job Description

Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain database systems and environments
- Monitor and optimize database performance, ensuring high availability and reliability
- Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, including performance bottlenecks and data integrity problems
- Collaborate with development teams to design and implement efficient database schemas
- Develop and maintain database backup and recovery strategies
- Implement security measures to protect sensitive data
- Perform database capacity planning and resource utilization analysis
- Develop and maintain documentation for database systems, including standard operating procedures

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Proven experience as a Database Administrator or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of Linux operating system
- Proficiency in database administration, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of server databases such as MySQL
- Experience with SQL programming and query optimization
- Familiarity with SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) for ETL processes
- Knowledge of shell scripting for automation tasks
- Experience with Java programming is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
