Position Description
This is a unique developmental opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to grow into a key role within our IT organization. The HRIS & ERP Systems Analyst will embark on a multi-phased journey, starting with a comprehensive knowledge transfer program for UKG Pro Workforce Management and providing critical support to our SAP S/4HANA implementation.
The role will progressively expand, leading to full ownership of the UKG system for our Canadian operations and eventually encompassing system administration for the SAP SuccessFactors HRIS deployment. This position is ideal for a candidate looking to build deep expertise in enterprise systems and play an integral part in major business transformation initiatives across North America.

Responsibilities
Phase 1: Knowledge Transfer & Testing (July 2025 - December 2025)
UKG Knowledge Transfer: Work in close partnership with the current UKG System Administrator to gain a deep understanding of our system configuration, processes, and best practices. The primary objective is to be fully prepared to assume the role of UKG System Administrator in January 2026.
SAP S/4HANA Testing Support: In parallel, assist the SAP S/4HANA Test Manager by collaborating with SAP key users to develop, execute, and track test scripts.
Audit & Compliance: Ensure that all testing activities are meticulously documented to meet functional requirements and satisfy PCAOB audit standards prior to the SAP go-live in January 2026.
Phase 2: System Administration & Project Support (January 2026 - November 2026)
UKG System Administration: Assume full responsibility as the primary system administrator for UKG Pro Workforce Management, providing dedicated support to our two Canadian pulp mill operations.
IT Project Support: Support the global IT Project Management Office (PMO) by assisting with the coordination and execution of key IT projects across North America.
Phase 3: Program Leadership & System Expansion (Beginning December 2026)
North American UKG Program Lead: Serve as the strategic lead for the UKG program in North America, identifying opportunities for optimization and enhanced functionality.
SAP SuccessFactors Administration: Take on system administration responsibilities for the North American deployment of SAP SuccessFactors (SFEC). This includes working closely with the global SAP team as a member of the SAP Center of Excellence (CoE) to ensure a successful and integrated rollout.

Qualifications and Experience
Post-secondary qualifications in a relevant field are preferred. We will consider candidates with equivalent work experience in UKG Workforce Management solutions, related HRIS/ERP system applications, or project management experience.
A minimum of 3 years of related work experience in IT, HRIS, or a similar field.
Recent knowledge and experience working in a heavy manufacturing industry with robust process knowledge in functional areas such as manufacturing, maintenance, engineering, procurement, information and process technology, or human resource management.
UKG Experience: Experience with UKG Pro Workforce Management is highly desirable, particularly with modules such as Timekeeping, Pay Rules, Accruals, Scheduling, Attendance/Leave Policies, and clock configuration.
ERP/Systems Knowledge: Understanding of ERP systems (SAP is a major asset), SaaS solutions, and system integration concepts. Experience with software testing cycles and documentation is a plus.
Project Management Acumen: Demonstrated ability to support projects, with a strong understanding of project lifecycles and methodologies. An analytical mindset with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Effectively build relationships with key stakeholders at all levels, from end-users to management. Well-developed verbal and written communication skills are essential.
Adaptability & Detail-Orientation: A proactive, results-oriented approach with excellent time management skills and a keen attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Business Process Knowledge: Knowledge of current HR policies, practices, and business operations with an ability to anticipate future trends from a systems perspective.
