We are currently seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our HR Solutions team.

The ideal candidate will have a love of technology and proven track record in successful relationship management, project management and service delivery for Human Capital Management in a HR shared services setting. They are a creative problem solver and a proactive agile learner who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. They are diligent and focused on details, particularly with communication, follow-up and documentation.

What you will be doing:

  • Works with business and vendor partners to ensure seamless process delivery by proactively identifying and researching issues, system gaps, etc. and formulate resolutions/recommendations and applying best practices.
  • Proactively helps identify and implement ideas for improving processes/tasks/activities.
  • Provides resolution and documents/maintains SOP documentation and processes.
  • Create functional design documents, front-end system configuration and support models to meet the current and future state business needs.
  • Escalates issues of processes/procedures as appropriate.
  • Responsible execution and processing of tasks/activities/processes for the module per pre-defined frequency. Adheres to internal and external audit requirements.
  • Oversees data processing, using SOP/guidelines, to ensure updates are accurately captured.
  • Proactively identifies potential service delivery issues and provides clear guidance towards process improvement.
  • Conducts/supports user acceptance testing of processes as required per standard release management.
  • Provide daily process administration for various HR systems supported.
  • Provide daily help desk support for system users.
  • Perform root causes analysis of issues and recommend preventative solutions.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing of new functional/technical developments as required.
  • Support and lead the team, where appropriate, as a functional representative for HR initiatives that impact multiple systems, programs, and/or third-party vendors.
  • Create and maintain: correspondence, knowledge-based articles, presentations, change requests, current/proposed process workflows, standard operating procedures, test cases, and end-user guides to support HR, ESS/MSS and training initiatives.
  • Manage relationships and consult with program/business owners, end-users, vendors, and team members to identify and resolve system/process related issues.
  • Partner, and where appropriate Lead, with internal business partners, and external vendors, to gather, document, and refine business requirements, provide recommendations for initiatives ranging in scope from small to large scale.
  • Evaluate existing internal processes with the intent of identifying anomalies, recommending and implementing enhancement opportunities.
  • Fulfill ad hoc requests for business information.
  • Assist leadership with building effective practices to meet business and employee needs.
What you have:
  • University degree or college degree with a focus on HR or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in a human resources environment.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft suite of products.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of cloud technologies and interest in emerging learning technologies.
  • Usability/user experience expertise a plus.
  • Ability to create scripts for training users and administrators on system and procedure changes.
  • Ability to perform data analysis and conduct root cause investigations.
  • Ability to gather and compile complex information into an easy-to-understand format (such as Visio and/or MS PowerPoint).
  • Advanced skill in creating reports and formatting MS Excel sheets using advanced functions, pivot tables and macros.
  • Ability to establish and achieve goals with minimal supervision.
  • Communicates effectively, at all levels of the organization, with meaningful and articulate verbal discussions.
  • Creates clear and coherent written materials.
  • Proven attention to accuracy and detail.
Ideal candidate also has:
  • Advanced experience with Cloud based HCM (e.g.Oracle HCM), technology.
  • Strong working knowledge of quality control and auditing standards.
  • Project management skills to lead change initiatives and projects.
  • A desire to continually learn.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with business partners and internal team members.
  • Strong service orientation and customer focus.
