Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated HR & Organizational Development Business Partner to join our People & Culture team. As an HR & OD Partner, you will be responsible for driving the retention, engagement, and transition of talent within the organization. You will collaborate closely with the P&C Centers of expertise, business leaders and HR stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable HR strategies and initiatives.

This role requires a strategic mindset, strong business acumen, and a deep understanding of talent management practices.

Responsibilities

Business Partnering
  • Work in partnership with the business leaders in supporting the execution and deployment of human resources programs and processes.
  • Coach and guide employees and business leaders in initiatives such as performance management, talent development, compensation, employee engagement, workforce planning, talent acquisition, international mobility etc.
  • Provide advice and expertise to resolve employee relations, conflict management, performance management matters and/or complex business-related issues that arise. Support and advise business leaders in regards with personnel management, organization, and change management skills.
  • Enables leaders in effective coaching and development of their teams.
  • Advise on organizational design elements.
  • Act as a change agent by promoting and providing advice and support for organizational change.
  • Brings proactive HR support for business initiatives.
  • Provide management with guidance and interpretation of applicable local laws, regulations, corporate policies, practices, and procedures.
  • Partner with the HR colleagues on a variety of projects including retention strategies, career paths, recognition, L&D initiatives and other year-end processes, succession planning, and organizational development initiatives.
  • Define, plan, and implement a full range of people initiatives that are directly aligned with business and people strategy.
  • Leading Francization efforts to ensure compliance with local requirements.
  • Working closely with the HR colleagues to initiate and implement culture and events programs globally.
Organizational Development

This role is dotted line to the Organizational Development CoE, in this role you will:
  • Participate in the design of culture, talent management, employee experiences and career pathway initiatives, in collaboration with various stakeholders.
  • Facilitate workshops to gather insights, feedback, and recommendations from various sites.
  • Stay current with organizational development trends and best practices.
  • Facilitate talent reviews and succession planning discussions to identify high-potential employees and develop robust succession pipelines.
  • Work closely with business leaders to identify critical roles and create succession plans for key positions.
  • Conduct thorough talent assessments to identify key retention risks and develop targeted interventions.
  • Provide guidance and support to business leaders in building a robust pipeline of talent.
  • Support other initiatives related to diversity and inclusion; psychometric testing debriefs etc.
Requirements
  • Certified CRHA.
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in human resources, Labor Relations or Business Administration, or a related field; a Master\xe2\x80\x99s level degree would be an asset.
  • Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience as an HR Business Partner or in a similar strategic HR role.
  • In-depth knowledge of talent management practices, including retention, engagement, succession planning, and performance management.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to understand and translate business strategies into HR initiatives.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and drive results.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
