SimpsonWigle LAW LLP is currently seeking to hire a full time

Human Resources Manager

providing support to all our staff in Hamilton and Burlington. This role requires regular presence in our Hamilton office (3 days per week) and in our Burlington office (2 days per week).

The successful candidate will:



Support managers with staff employee relations, conflict management, performance evaluations and other related activities Administer and execute various human resources related programs such as recruitment, new hire orientation, exit interviews, health and safety, scheduling, etc. Responsible for group RRSP and benefits plan administration Support employees and managers with day-to-day questions about company policies, benefits/RRSP, employee records, and all other related functions Support office administration such as inventory control and maintenance, general office upkeep, etc. Other duties as assigned

Required experience/qualifications:



Minimum college graduate from a human resources program Minimum 5 years, group benefits/RRSP program oversight, and human resource generalist experience required, law firm experience highly preferred Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft environment (including Excel) in addition to experience in various social media platforms Thorough understanding of privacy legislation and able to maintain a high level of confidentiality / working knowledge of all other basic employment related legislation required Able to effectively communicate in a positive and professional manner (written and verbal) High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail
