HR Manager
Are you stuck looking for a way to rise up into that Senior HR position? This is the job! We are seeking an HR Manager with 5+years to join our team in a fast-paced company in the Construction vertical. This role is forward-facing, practical, and rooted in a team-based culture, built over 15+ years of growth. The HR Manager will be a key player in compliance, certification tracking, culture, employee engagement, building the next layer of leadership for the company, and play a strong role in the strategic vision and planning.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily HR operations including resume intake, job postings, and applicant tracking.
Track and maintain certifications for both field and office staff.
Collaborate with estimating and project management teams to align staffing with project needs.
Support internal and external employer branding through social media and marketing initiatives.
Conduct reviews for office staff and provide HR insights during company-wide meetings.
Oversee specialty HR projects such as defining new roles, supporting succession planning, and
Community advocate. Finding ways to help our engage in the community and charitable activities
strengthening company culture.
Run structured interview processes to help identify and attract top talent.
Ensure compliance with labor standards, safety regulations, and industry-specific requirements.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
Strong communication and people skills with a practical, solution-focused approach.
Experience in construction, demolition, or related industries is an asset.
Ability to support marketing and branding initiatives as a bonus skill.
Capable of balancing compliance and employee advocacy in a straightforward manner.
CPHR designation (or in progress) strongly preferred. Equivalent HR certification (SHRM, CHRL) will be considered. Additional safety or compliance certifications (e.g., CRSP) are an asset
