Job Description
Vaco Atlanta is working with an impressive manufacturing company in New Brunswick, Canada in their search for an HR Manager. This is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity which requires in-office work. Only candidates who live in or around the Edmondstun, New Brunswick area will be considered since in-office work is required.Responsibilities:
- Manage and mentor 4 HR Generalists
- Ensure compliance of Benefits in alignment with North American manager
- Oversee Canadian Employment Law compliance
- Foster a positive work environment
- Manage recruitment efforts
- Develop HR strategies with HR Director
- Handle Employee Relations issues
- Must have at least 5 years of HR management experience in a manufacturing environment
- Must have 5 years of HR experience in a unionized company
- Must possess strong leadership experience
- Must have strong conflict-resolution skills
- Must be comfortable using HR software
- Must be able to travel within Canada, up to 20% of the time.
