The HR Director, Volunteer Board Member plays a pivotal role in shaping the human resources strategy of our organization. This position is designed for an experienced HR professional who is passionate about volunteerism and community engagement. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of knowledge in human capital management, strategic planning, and employee relations.
Duties
Recruit and retain key board positions.
Drive process improvement initiatives within HR functions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Prepare presentations for board meetings that communicate HR metrics, program updates, and strategic initiatives.
Experience
Candidates should possess extensive experience in human resources management with a strong understanding of employment & labor law. Ideal qualifications include:
Proven track record in talent acquisition, negotiation skills, and supervising teams within an HR context.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across all levels of the organization.
