The Opportunity:



The Human Resources Coordinator will own various HR functions, including processing changes, terminations, payroll support, and ROEs in Ceridian-Dayforce. They will also support in managing internal platforms and assisting with HR policies and projects.



Responsibilities:



Process changes and terminations and input them into Ceridian-Dayforce, our HRIS. Create letters to support employee changes and terminations. Assist with payroll processing and ensure compliance with wage laws. Assist talent acquisition team with seasonal conversion processes. Prepare Records of Employment (ROEs) for departing employees. Assist with various HR projects, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. Compile reports and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to support data-driven decision-making. Manage content and updates on JD Now, the company's internal communications platform, to support engagement and information sharing across teams. Maintain Employee Assistance Program (EAP) user access and related administrative tasks, ensuring accurate records and smooth program operation. Provide first-level troubleshooting and support within the HRIS system, identifying and escalating system issues as needed. Support HR Business Partners with administrative tasks, including preparing documentation, coordinating follow-ups, and maintaining organized records. Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures. Implement and administer employee policies and promote positive employee relations. Work towards improving company policies and procedures. Provide training and support to other team members of the human resources department.

Requirements:



Proven experience in human resources, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with employees at all levels. Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to address employee inquiries and resolve issues promptly. Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines. Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with employees and managers. HRIS: Understanding of the function of an HRIS and the need to maintain accurate data / employee files. Familiarity with HRIS and proficiency in MS Office applications. Experience in recruitment, employee relations, WSIB and WCB claims, and benefits administration. * Committed to confidentiality and ethical conduct in handling sensitive HR information.
