HR Coordinator.
The HR Coordinator is Vidir's first point of contact and plays a key role in delivering exceptional internal and external service. They support a positive customer and employee experience by responding to inquiries with professionalism and care. This role provides ongoing support to Human Resources functions, including recruitment, onboarding, training, and event planning, while contributing ideas for enhancing the overall employee experience.
This is a developmental position designed to provide foundational HR experience and prepare you for progressive roles within Human Resources. You'll gain exposure to recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, and HR systems, making this an excellent opportunity for those looking to build a long-term career in HR.
Responsibilities

Support HR functions, including, assisting with onboarding, coordinating events, helping with recruitment, and handling confidential documents.
Provide a warm, professional welcome to all visitors, customers, and contractors--both in person and by phone--while responding to inquiries with initiative and creativity to ensure a positive, personalized experience.
Maintain security protocols by managing visitor logs, verifying contractor orientations, and issuing PPE and badges.
Manage office and lunchroom supplies, including inventory checks and ordering.
Maintain boardrooms and meeting spaces to a professional 5S-aligned standard.
Assist with planning and executing employee events, including Christmas celebrations, lunches, and other company events.
Demonstrate the accountabilities under Vidir's Risk Management System and Continuous Improvement Programs and lead by example.
Qualifications
1-2 years' experience in HR, or customer service roles, or a combination of these.
Enrollment in or completion of a Business Administration or Human Resources Management course--or a combination of both--will be considered an asset
Strong customer focus and ability to create a welcoming and positive employee experience.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
Experience with HRIS systems, preferably UKG (UltiPro/UKG Pro), for managing employee records, onboarding processes, and generating reports
