Our sister company, Teamworks Career Centre, is looking to hire a Human Resources Consultant to assist employers around the Lethbridge area with their recruiting needs. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to be innovative and collaborative in their pursuit of finding talented, engaged, and qualified staff and enriching employee-employer relationships.

Compensation & Hours:
  • The salary is expected to be $50K/yr. - $65K/yr.
  • This is a fulltime position
  • Monday - Friday, daytime hours
Position Summary:
  • Fostering strong relationships with hiring managers to understand the unique needs of the business and then developing strategies for recruitment and retention
  • Utilizing aptitude and psychometric assessments to determine suitability
  • Acting as a resource for labour marketing information
  • Establishing guidelines for sourcing talent through job boards, referrals, schools, association, social media, career events, etc.
  • Creating interview guides that best portray expectations of the role and effectively divulge qualifications of candidates
  • Initiating a marketing plan to build brand presence
  • Developing job descriptions/ads, designing the layout, and posting to relevant channels
  • Building a network of top-tier talent and recruiting partners
  • Assisting in the development of organizational charts based on key responsibilities and functional streams
  • Screening applicants and onboarding new hires
Required Qualifications:
  • Post-secondary education in HR or Business Administration
  • 3+ years of previous full-cycle recruitment experience
  • Strong networking, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to influence change
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and database software
  • Must be adept at problem-solving
  • Valid driver's license
