Position Overview
We're looking for a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) who thrives on building strong relationships and delivering results. In this strategic role, you'll provide expert HR support to branch operations while creating a positive and engaging workplace culture.
You'll lead key HR functions -- including employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, training, benefits administration, and engagement programs -- and collaborate closely with both the HR team and branch leaders to strengthen employee satisfaction, reduce turnover, and ensure compliance with federal and provincial legislation.
With a focus on innovation, you'll leverage HR technology, maintain accurate employee records, and drive continuous improvement initiatives that align our people strategy with business objectives. This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone who is proactive, solutions-focused, and passionate about fostering a workplace where people can do their best work.
What You'll Do:
Deliver timely regional HR support across recruitment, onboarding, terminations, employee relations, training, benefits, HRIS, and engagement.
Partner with branches to strengthen HR relationships, boost engagement, and reduce turnover through effective programs.
Design and implement reward, recognition, and engagement initiatives aligned with company culture.
Develop and communicate HR policies and processes to meet organizational goals and legal requirements.
Advise and coach leaders and employees on HR best practices.
Promote learning and development; identify and coordinate training needs.
Maintain compliance with employment laws and regulations.
Leverage HR technology to improve processes and efficiency.
Lead continuous improvement projects supporting business objectives.
Foster a positive, professional, and safe work environment while ensuring confidentiality.
Support national HR operations and other duties as assigned.
Any other reasonable duties as assigned by their manager.
What You Bring:
Post-secondary certificate, diploma, or degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
CHRP designation, or actively working towards obtaining.
Strong knowledge of HR processes, systems, and best practices.
Solid understanding of Canadian employment law, provincial standards, and human rights regulations.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Exceptional communication, tact, and diplomacy in sensitive situations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Able to work independently or collaboratively.
High attention to detail and commitment to safeguarding information.
