This position is responsible for the administration, implementation, and coordination of a wide range of Human Resources programs for the Kaycan Branches.
The responsibilities include, but are not limited to employee relations, benefits, Human Resource Information Systems, compensation, training, onboarding, and compliance with all applicable local legislation.
In addition, the HRBP will assist the Sr Regional HR Manager with Day to day HR matters. This position will play an important role with helping the site to achieve business goals and objectives.
Employee Relations
Respond to employee relations issues in the workplace and work effectively with all parties involved to address and escalate to Sr HR as required.
Listen to employee complaints, record and discuss with HR Manager to make sure necessary actions are taken.
Support People Managers with proper guidance and procedure related to disciplinary process.
Ensure that all guidance, decisions making, and solutions offered will be in accordance to all applicable employment legislations as well as internal policies, processes and procedures and ensure the best interest of both the company and its employees have been taken into account.
Prepare HR communications and keep HR communication boards/channels and tools up to date.
Participate in site initiatives- JHSC, Engagement & Social Committee
Talent Acquisition
Discuss with Branch Managers on recruitment needs, propose best options and solutions.
Ensure that all requests are approved and aligned with budgeted headcount.
Support branch managers with requisition forms and job postings in coordination with TA team.
Onboarding
Support hiring manager and drive engagement and completion of Onboarding Checklist.
Meet with new hires on day one to review HR Onboarding presentation and paperwork.
Compile HR metrics (turn over, head count) analyzing, reporting and identifying emerging trends
Training & Team engagement
Promote a safe working environment, comply with proper use of PPE, understands applicable EHS programs (reporting incidents, and participate in functional department safety meetings).
Continuously develops our corporate culture by leading & supporting all employee wellness & engagement initiatives, and employee Social Events.
Proactively helps to drive employee engagement at the site and make recommendation for activities that can improve engagement.
Benefits Administration
Coordinate with HR team all branch employee benefit and pension plan, including but not limited to; enrolment, updates and terminations; tracking and monitoring any STD/LTD and workers compensation related claims; liaise with Total Rewards team for plan renewals and responding to employee benefit inquiries.
Ensure that all claim forms are fully filled with correct information and send via fax, email etc. to concern party.
Follow up on incident reports with branch manager, EHS manager and ensure that they are well recorded.
Stay current on trending compensation, employee benefits/perks and HR related trends to ensure industry competitiveness.
Coordinate with payroll team all issues, mistakes and concerns and revert back to employee with corrective solutions.

HRIS Program Administration
Coordinate HRIS data for Kaycan branches. As necessary, run appropriate action reports for audit purposes.
Act as liaison / provide counsel among the company, employees, program providers and/or government agencies,resolving issues, seeking guidance, providing information, ensuring compliance with regulations and on employee development and employee relations issues.
Work closely and support branch managers with company HR programs and systems.
Issues local communications & training for annual performance management cycle and total reward programs.Running various reports as requested by HR partners and managers for example: annual me@saint-gobain engagement data/reports, setting of focus groups etc
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources administration or related field.
Minimum Experience: 5+ years in Human Resources, with HRBP experience in the key areas; policy development, performance management, exposure to payroll, and employee relations.
Strong Proficiency- HRIS systems, MS office
Good knowledge of current employment-related laws and legislations.
Effective written and verbal communication that can reach all levels of the organization.
Ability to exhibit professionalism and diplomacy with all levels of the organization even under stressful/high pressured situations.
High level of critical and logical thinking, analysis to help guide business planning.
Strong interpersonal relationship building and coaching skills with the ability to exercise the appropriate level of confidentiality when required.
Must be able to work well in a team environment in a respectful way, adapt to change and can influence others without authority in a direct and positive manner.
