The local HR Business Partner will work closely with assigned local clients and become a trusted advisor to leaders on people-related matters, including performance management, compensation, succession planning, employee relations, change management, etc. In this role, you will also work closely with Senior HR Business Partners and HR Centers of Expertise (COEs) to address specific client needs. What does your typical day look like?
• Provide guidance, coaching and consultation to leaders on HR and organizational development related matters such as legal compliance, workforce planning, talent and performance management, employee development, employee relations, employee termination, etc.
• Work closely with leaders to improve employee work experience, reinforce engagement, increase productivity and retention.
• Implement HR related projects in line with corporate priorities in collaboration with other HR team members.
• Support leaders and teams through the implementation of organizational change initiatives.
• Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation.
• Support leaders with employee relations issues.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Revise contract terms for new hires, promotions, and transfers within predefined parameters and ensure escalation at the right level as needed.

What skills and experience are we looking for?
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience as HR generalist.
• Strong English and French skills (oral and written).
• Strong coaching, mentoring, and facilitation skills.
• Proven ability to develop effective relationships and gain credibility and trust across all levels of the organization and diverse client groups.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making abilities.
• Collaborative and professional team player with the ability to handle sensitive situations with tact, diplomacy, and high ethical standards.
• Ability to maintain information in confidence and exercise good judgment.
• Proficient use of MS office suite.
• Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment.
