We are seeking a dedicated Human Resources Associate to join our dynamic team in Canada. As a
Human Resources Associate
at MEDUCOM, you will focus on talent acquisition, employee program administration, employee retention and motivation, and benefits and incentive programs. Your contributions will be vital in aligning our human resources practices with MEDUCOM's mission of delivering exceptional healthcare communication services. To be successful in this role, you must know what it takes for talent to succeed in an agency role in this industry and establish trust with internal team members.
Primary Accountabilities
Manage talent acquisition process
o Manage effective full cycle recruitment; including job postings, applicant screening, interview coordination, employee onboarding and exit interviews
o Advise on best practices to foster and support positive employee relations, staff retention and maintain a progressive corporate culture
Demonstrate MEDUCOM's high standards by exhibiting exceptional attention to detail and resourcefulness
o Ensure timely delivery of tasks through effective prioritization and time management skills
o Take initiative to support daily administrative tasks to maximize office efficiency
Build trusted relationships with internal teams
o Coordination and integration with internal teams to build transparent relationships and communication
o Manage employee programs such as compensation and benefits, employee recognition program and employee vacation and leaves
Responsibilities
Assist in the recruitment process by sourcing candidates and conducting interviews.
Manage employee relations issues and provide support to staff.
Maintain HRIS data accuracy and integrity.
Support talent acquisition initiatives to attract top talent.
Coordinate training and development programs for employees.
Facilitate change management processes within the organization.
Collaborate with management on HR projects and initiatives.
Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
Minimum 5 years experience in a Human Resources role.
Strong understanding of talent acquisition processes and employee relations.
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
Hands-on experience with job analysis, creation of job descriptions, recruitment and onboarding
Familiarity with employment legislation and current employment best practices
Meticulous organization, attention to detail, time management and the ability to prioritize effectively
Polished communication skills that allow you to relate easily to a wide variety of individuals
Ability to problem solve in a dynamic, fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
Energy, motivation, adaptable, 'can-do' attitude and ability to think on your feet
Proven computer software knowledge and skills including Microsoft Word and Excel
Proven ability to integrate AI and new technology for continuous improvement
