This dual-role is essential to maintaining our internal HR compliance and expanding our talent pipeline.
Develop, implement, and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks in accordance with labor laws and organizational best practices.
Serve as the primary point of contact for HR compliance, workplace policies, employee relations, and conflict resolution.
Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes, including background checks, document collection, and policy briefings.
Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
Support performance review cycles, training initiatives, and HR reporting.
Project Enrollment & Placement Program Management (50%)
Promote and manage enrollment of qualified professionals and interns for ongoing projects, client engagements, and internal innovation programs.
Liaise with educational institutes, industry partners, and candidates to support the intake and onboarding process.
Organize interviews, screenings, and placement logistics for client projects and internship assignments.
Maintain a database of active participants and alumni, tracking placements and engagement feedback.
Collaborate with project managers and business development teams to align staffing needs with talent availability.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
3+ years of HR generalist or coordinator experience.
Experience in recruitment, staffing, or program coordination preferred.
Solid understanding of employment law and HR compliance (Canada and/or USA).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR software.
Experience working with educational institutes or workforce development programs.
Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
