What you will be doing: Reporting to Housekeeping Managers, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following.

• Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly service
• Follow departmental policies, procedures and service standards
• Mending, alternations and hand sewing
• Assis in all duties of the linen room
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
Your experience and skills include:

• Excellent understanding of industrial sergers & sewing machine is an asset
• Mending and hand sewing knowledge is required
• Knowledge of preplacing zippers, fabric, buttons and linings
• Must be able to take accurate measurements for all uniforms and business attire fittings
• Must be comfortable to perform alterations with various fabrics
• Excellent communication and organization skills
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast- paced environment
• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, reaming calm and courteous at all times. Frequent sitting throughout shift
• Occasional lifting and carrying up to 20 lbs
• Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
• Bending / Reaching
• Pushing and pulling
