Overview

Mundi Hotels have an opening for a self-motivated, responsible, and well-organized professional for a full-time Housekeeping Supervisor, located in the Coast Lonsdale Quay Hotel, steps away from the Lonsdale Quay Seabus Terminal in North Vancouver.

The Housekeeping Supervisor contributes to the overall success of the hotel by leading the daily operations of the housekeeping team that provides Coast Hotels' standards of cleanliness within all areas of the hotel.

Responsibilities:

Delegates and oversees the work of others within housekeeping, including daily work flow, and providing guidance to team members. Inspects guest rooms, addresses needs, resolves guest issues, reports maintenance issues, and ensures adequate inventory levels. Performs Housekeeping duties as required. Other duties as required

Skills/Knowledge/Experience:

Secondary school diploma 1 year of related hospitality experience at a leadership level 2+ years Housekeeping experience Industry specific certifications such as Housekeeping Room Attendant and Tourism Supervisor Ability to delegate and communicate with others Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong problem resolution skills and conflict resolution skills

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week
