Queens Association for Supported Living, a non-profit organization which provides residential and vocational services to people with intellectual disabilities, is currently seeking a self motivated person to join our team as part-time housekeeping custodial staff. If you are someone who has a knack for cleaning and is handy with small jobs around the house, this might be the perfect fit for you!

This service starts at home, with a comfortable living environment. Housekeeping Custodial staff perform deep cleaning duties such as scrubbing floors, washing walls and cleaning windows, along with performing general maintenance and small repairs. Housekeeping custodial staff also monitor the condition of the homes and notify management of major repairs that need completed.

Skills and qualifications:

Experience in housekeeping industry is an asset.

Follow safe work practices through OHS Act.

Effective communication skills.

Ability to work well both independently and within a team.

Strong organization skills.

Able to use cleaning supplies, a stepladder and necessary tools to complete assigned tasks.

Flexible, with the ability to adapt to situations that may change from day to day.

Recent suitable Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector check.

Wage: $ 17.03

30 hours per week.

Start date: As soon as possible.
