As a Housekeeping Room Attendant you are responsible for the cleanliness of guest rooms, laundry and public areas as per Inn on the Lake Standards. General customer service is required, including the provision of extra amenities or addressing customer concerns and questions.
Responsibilities:
Clean departing rooms and prepare them for new guests
Clean stay over rooms
Clean common areas
Cleaning Duties include: Sweep, mop and wash floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures, pick up debris and empty trash containers, Wash windows, walls and ceilings.
Keep housekeeping cart and linen closet stocked.
Handle and report lost and found items
Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items
Work safely and follow WHMIS guidelines
