Starting Rate:

$19.38


We recognize tenure through our compensation. Hourly rates increase after six months, and yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $23.49

Job Duties Include:

Responsible for sanitizing ice machines on guest room floors Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the backspaces. This will include but not limited to: sweeping, mopping, trash and recycling removal, stocking and organizing Support Room Attendants by removing dirty linen from vacant guest rooms Responsible for stocking linens and guest supplies in appropriate places and to appropriate par levels (this task supports and assists the Room Attendants) Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the guest corridors and public spaces. This will include but not limited to: vacuuming, dusting, polishing, damp dusting, elevator track cleaning, cleaning public washrooms, brass polishing and trash removal. Responsible cleaning dirty glassware from guestrooms and restocking clean glassware in appropriate places and to appropriate par levels All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Your Skills & Qualifications:

Warm and caring personality; previous housekeeping experience is an asset Ability to anticipate and focus attention on guest needs, being professional and welcoming Must be able to make decisions individually and show problem solving ability Able to work well independently with little supervision Excellent communication and follow-up skills Excellent organizational skills and time management
