We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Aide to join our team. Duties

Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment Assist with facilities maintenance activities to ensure the proper functioning of equipment and fixtures Conduct commercial cleaning duties in designated areas, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene Operate custodial equipment safely and effectively to facilitate efficient cleaning processes Manage heavy lifting tasks such as moving furniture or supplies to support cleaning operations or facility needs Follow established safety protocols and procedures during all cleaning and maintenance activities Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding work progress or issues encountered Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency

Requirements

Prior custodial or facilities maintenance experience is preferred, especially in commercial or institutional settings Familiarity with cleaning techniques, commercial cleaning equipment, hand tools, and power tools is advantageous Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently within scheduled shifts Ability to perform heavy lifting up to 50 pounds safely and consistently throughout the shift Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and customer service interactions Demonstrated reliability with a strong work ethic and attention to detail Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to safety standards Previous experience with custodial services or facilities maintenance is a plus but not mandatory

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $19.50 per hour
