Summary

Bob Rumball Home for the Deaf Housekeeping Aide
Location: Barrie
As a Housekeeping Aide, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our residents. Your contributions will directly support our mission of providing exceptional care in a nurturing atmosphere.

Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning tasks in resident rooms and common areas. Ensure all areas are sanitized and maintained to high standards. Assist with laundry duties as needed. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly. Collaborate with staff to meet the needs of residents effectively. Uphold confidentiality and respect for residents' privacy. Participate in training sessions, including American Sign Language courses. Foster a positive environment through effective communication.

Qualifications

Previous custodial experience preferred. Strong cleaning skills with attention to detail. Good communication skills, especially with diverse populations. Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks. Physical capability to perform heavy lifting as required. Customer service orientation is an asset.
