What you will doUnder the supervision and direction of the Hotel General Manager at the KeskorieBoarding Home, the Housekeeper is a key member of the Keskorie Service Team who will beinstrumental in providing exceptionally clean and safe accommodations for our guests.The Security position is a Permanent Full-Time position.A Day in the Life
  • Sweep, mop, wash, wax and polish floors
  • Dust furniture and vacuum carpeting and area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture
  • Make beds, change sheets and distribute clean towels and toiletries
  • Attend to guests\' requests for extra supplies
  • Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
  • Clean and disinfect public areas such as dining area and day room, showers and elevators
  • Disinfect operating rooms and other hospital areas
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers
  • Wash windows, walls and ceilings.
  • Report and store lost and found items
  • May provide basic information on facilities
  • May handle complaints.
What You Bring
  • Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent experience.
  • Familiar with the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Proven team player with ability to work both independently as well as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow checklists
  • Proven punctuality and a pleasant demeanor
  • Consistent ability to follow all corporate safe work procedures in the operation of housekeeping equipment and chemicals
  • Standard First Aid w/CPR, AED
  • WHMIS Certificate
  • Willing to undergo a Security Clearance Background Check
