The Continuing Education Department of Champlain College Saint-Lambert requires the services of an HOURLY INSTRUCTOR to teach the course of INTRODUCTION TO RESIDENTIAL REAL ESTATE BROKERAGE (221-201-MA)
This introductory course provides students with an overview of the professional environment in which they will be working. Among the many facets that define it, students will understand the workings of the brokerage industry and examine the activities, responsibilities, tasks, and conditions of practice of their future profession. They will be able to measure their entrepreneurial potential and grasp the realities of self-employment. They will also be able to analyze the real estate market and understand its dynamics. Finally, they will draft a business plan to define the direction they will follow. In line with their professional aspirations, this document will give life to their project and serve as a springboard to launch their career by transforming their thoughts into concrete actions.
Required Qualifications :
Must be a licensed Real Estate Broker or Agent in Quebec.
Must have a thorough knowledge of the competencies, know-how and business skills necessary to perform as a Real Estate Broker in Quebec.
Must have a bachelor's degree in a related field, or a minimum of 6 years' experience as a Residential Real Estate Broker or Agent.
Applicants with less than 6 years' experience as a Residential Real Estate Broker or Agent, with a minimum of 1 year experience in agency management may also be considered.
This course is taught in English; excellent communication skills in English are required. Teaching experience within a similar program is an asset.

This course is delivered with a hybrid delivery model: approximately 20% of course hours will be given in-person and 80% course hours will be delivered online/at distance.
The specific in-person dates will be determined in collaboration with the hired instructor. The selected candidate must have the ability to deliver a course online.
