We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Night Audit to join our team in Whistler. The Night Audit is a critical role responsible for ensuring the accuracy of daily financial transactions, reconciling accounts, and providing exceptional guest services during overnight hours. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic hospitality environment, supporting guest relations and hotel operations during the night shift. The ideal candidate will possess strong hospitality management skills, excellent customer service abilities, and experience with front desk operations.
Responsibilities
Perform nightly audit procedures to verify and balance daily financial transactions, including room charges, payments, and adjustments.
Reconcile accounts and generate audit reports to ensure accuracy of hotel financial data.
Handle guest check-ins and check-outs during late-night hours with professionalism and courtesy.
Respond promptly to guest inquiries via phone or in person, providing exceptional guest services and resolving issues efficiently.
Maintain accurate records of reservations, cancellations, and modifications in the hotel management system.
Monitor security procedures and ensure the safety of guests during overnight hours.
Assist with administrative tasks such as answering multi-line phone systems, managing guest requests, and coordinating with other departments as needed.
Uphold high standards of hospitality management, guest relations, and phone etiquette to enhance overall guest experience.
This is a 10 hour shift with 4 days on and three days off.
Requirements
Prior experience in hospitality management, front desk operations, or hotel management is preferred.
Strong knowledge of night audit procedures and guest services within a resort or hotel setting.
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and professional appearance.
Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to assist diverse guests effectively.
Proficiency in handling multi-line phone systems and maintaining proper phone etiquette.
Ability to work independently during overnight shifts while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
Previous hotel experience is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for qualified candidates.
Flexibility to work overnight hours on a consistent schedule.
