Bedford Regency Hotel located in downtown Victoria. We have been providing Hotel Accommodation and F&B service in the past 30yrs from our wonderful staff team. we are looking for a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. If you have a passion for ensuring the comfort and safety of guests through meticulous maintenance practices, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
Conduct routine maintenance checks on all hotel systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff Troubleshoot and repair issues in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure the ongoing functionality of equipment and systems Maintain accurate records of maintenance performed and inventory of supplies
Requirements:
Proven experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in a hotel or similar environment Solid understanding of technical aspects of plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC systems, and general carpentry Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and customer service skills Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: From $23.00 per hour
