Hotel Maintenance Worker

Priority will be given to candidates with hotel maintenance experience.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Hotel Maintenance Worker to ensure the continued operation and upkeep of our property. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in hotel maintenance and be able to perform a wide range of general repair and preventative maintenance tasks. This role is essential in providing a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment for our guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

HVAC Maintenance:

Diagnose and repair PTAC and AC unit issues in guest rooms to ensure proper climate control.

Plumbing Repairs:

Troubleshoot and repair minor plumbing issues, including drains, leaks, and fixtures.

Pool & Hot Tub Maintenance:

Perform routine checks and maintenance on pool and hot tub pumps. Conduct daily chemical level testing and adjustments in accordance with health regulations.

Door Lock System Management:

Install, repair, replace, and program guest room door lock systems (swipe and digital locks).

Painting & Aesthetic Repairs:

Complete touch-up painting and perform basic cosmetic maintenance as needed to maintain the appearance of the property.

General Property Maintenance:

Conduct routine inspections and ensure that all facilities, equipment, and systems are maintained in optimal condition. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in hotel maintenance or similar building maintenance role.

Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.

Experience with pool systems and chemical handling preferred.

Familiarity with electronic door lock systems (e.g., Saflok, Salto, etc.).

Basic painting, carpentry, and general handyman skills.

Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Availability for on-call or emergency maintenance needs as required.
