The House Person is responsible for ensuring all public areas of the complex are properly cleaned and left tidy at all times.
Some of the job duties include but are not limited to:
Responds promptly to requests from guests and other departments.
Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming all entrances, elevators, stairwells, and public areas of the hotel.
Cleaning elevators, including tracks, walls, railings, mirrors, and control panels.
Washes interior and exterior windows and doors in public areas.
Dusts all public spaces including furniture, pictures, and light fixtures.
Assisting the housekeeping team with stripping linen off beds and removing garbage when required.
Shampooing carpets and upholstery when required.
Remove soiled linen, trash, and recycling from pool area and/or guest floors.
Identifies and reports any maintenance issues.
Walk floors at beginning and end of shift removing any random items.
Delivers items to guest rooms.
Helps Housekeeping team with lifting or moving of heavy items.
Report missing and found items to housekeeping office.
Stocking and sorting supplies and linen.
Moving furniture and boxes, unpacking deliveries.
Delivering supplies to Housekeepers.
Assists maintenance team with snow removal, sweeping, or raking when required.
Assisting in cleaning rooms when required.
Prerequisites:
Previous customer service and housekeeping experience is an asset. Must be available to work a flexible schedule including overtime when required. Successful applicants must be able to bend, lift, push and pull with ease. This is a very physical and demanding position requiring heavy lifting up to 50 lbs and pushing heavy bins of linen up to 100 lbs.

We provide fully furnished subsidized shared accommodation. The units consist of condos, and houses with 2-3 bedrooms. All units are equipped with shared bathrooms, kitchens, and in-suite laundry. All bedrooms and living rooms are fully furnished with the essentials, including free internet and cable. Occupancy in the units is limited to ensure a comfortable living environment.
The applicants must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
