Duties
Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including beds, bathrooms, furniture, and fixtures to ensure a hygienic environment.
Perform floor care duties such as vacuuming carpets, mopping hard floors, and maintaining overall cleanliness of hallways, lobbies, and public spaces.
Restock amenities like towels, toiletries, and linens to meet guest needs efficiently.
Conduct routine inspections of assigned areas to identify maintenance issues or safety hazards and report them promptly.
Follow established cleaning procedures using industrial cleaning equipment and eco-friendly products to maximize efficiency and safety.
Maintain cleanliness standards in back-of-house areas such as laundry rooms, storage closets, and staff break zones.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of daily cleaning schedules and uphold the hotel's high standards of hospitality.
Requirements
Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services; hotel experience is highly preferred.
Knowledge of floor care techniques including vacuuming, mopping, waxing, and polishing.
Strong understanding of hospitality standards with a focus on guest satisfaction.
Ability to operate industrial cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to identifying cleaning needs or maintenance issues.
Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks throughout shifts.
