Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and detail-focused Housekeeping Attendant to join our hotel team in Squamish. This role plays an important part in ensuring our guests enjoy a clean, comfortable, and well-cared-for stay.

Responsibilities

Clean and maintain guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to hotel standards Replace linens, towels, toiletries, and room amenities as needed Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns to the appropriate department Operate cleaning equipment and use cleaning products safely and effectively Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines Coordinate with front desk and other departments to support daily operations Maintain guest confidentiality and respect privacy at all times

Qualifications

At least 1 year of housekeeping experience in a hotel or similar environment Strong attention to detail and ability to manage time efficiently Comfortable working independently and as part of a team Good communication and organizational skills Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and safe chemical handling Flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities Experience with commercial or large-scale cleaning is considered an asset
