We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to oversee all aspects of our hotel operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences, managing staff, maintaining operational efficiency, and driving overall business success. This leadership role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a strong background in hospitality management. The General Manager will serve as the face of the property, fostering a positive environment for guests and staff alike.
Duties
Oversee daily hotel operations to ensure high standards of service and guest satisfaction
Develop and implement strategic plans to increase revenue and improve operational efficiency
Manage staffing, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
Maintain compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards
Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly to ensure positive experiences
Coordinate with departments such as housekeeping, maintenance, food & beverage, and front desk to ensure seamless operations
Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and expense control
Promote a welcoming environment that encourages guest loyalty and positive reviews
Lead marketing initiatives to attract new guests and retain existing clientele
Foster a team-oriented culture that motivates staff to deliver exceptional service
Qualifications
Proven experience in hospitality management or a similar leadership role within the hotel industry
Strong understanding of hotel operations, revenue management, and customer service principles
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate teams
Exceptional problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in hotel management software and MS Office Suite
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred
Prior experience with budgeting, financial analysis, and strategic planning is highly desirable
