Job Summary


Greeting Guests, checking them in and out, ensuring they have a comfortable stay with us. Providing top-notch customer service at all times. De-escalating challenging situations. Communicating with all departments to ensure smooth operation of the hotel.

The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests and will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service. This position requires strong communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual or multilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply, as they will enhance our guest services.

Responsibilities



Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor. Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently while ensuring accuracy in guest information. Answer phone calls promptly, utilizing excellent phone etiquette to assist guests with inquiries or reservations. Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities to enhance the guest experience. Handle guest requests and complaints professionally, ensuring timely resolution to maintain high customer satisfaction. Maintain an organized front desk area, including managing reservations and updating guest records in the hotel management system. Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for guests. Process payments and manage cash handling procedures accurately.

Qualifications



Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role within the hospitality industry is preferred. Strong communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette and guest interaction. Excellent English proficiently both verbal and written. Proficiency in using phone systems and hotel management software is a plus. Excellent computer proficiency. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed. Ability to work standing for long periods of time. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to our diverse clientele. A positive attitude, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills are essential for success in this role. A passion for providing exceptional guest services that create memorable experiences. High School Diploma or GED. Documented to legally work in Canada.
