We are seeking a friendly and professional Hotel Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle various tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor.
Manage the front desk operations, including checking guests in and out of the hotel.
Answer phone calls promptly, providing information about hotel services and responding to inquiries.
Handle guest requests and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
Maintain accurate records of guest information, reservations, and billing details.
Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including managing phone systems and coordinating with other departments.
Promote hotel services and amenities to enhance guest experiences.
Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and welcoming at all times.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is preferred.
Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
Proficient in phone etiquette and communication skills.
Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to assist diverse guests effectively.
Familiarity with front desk operations and hotel management software is a plus.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in handling guest requests and reservations.
Knowledge of Opera Cloud ( an asset)
