We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Hotel Manager to support the daily operations of our hospitality establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a comprehensive understanding of hotel management, and exceptional guest service abilities. This role involves overseeing staff, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining operational excellence to uphold the hotel's reputation for quality and service. Multilingual or bilingual skills are highly desirable to effectively communicate with diverse guests and team members.
Duties
Assist in supervising daily hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, and food & beverage services
Support guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring a memorable guest experience
Oversee staffing schedules, training, and performance evaluations for hotel staff
Manage revenue and budgetary functions, including forecasting, pricing strategies, and cost control measures
Coordinate with human resources for hiring, onboarding, and employee development programs
Oversee night audit procedures and ensure accurate financial reporting
Maintain high standards of hospitality management by implementing policies that promote guest satisfaction and operational efficiency
Handle multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette to assist guests and vendors
Collaborate with resort management to ensure seamless service delivery across all departments
Skills
Proven supervising experience within the hospitality industry or hotel management setting
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
Knowledge of revenue management strategies and budgeting processes
Proficiency in hotel management software and multi-line phone systems
Exceptional communication skills; multilingual or bilingual abilities preferred for effective guest interaction
Familiarity with front desk operations, night audit procedures, and guest services standards
Experience in human resources functions related to staffing and employee relations
Deep understanding of hospitality principles, resort operations, and guest relations management
