As an interviewer, you are an active listener who seeks clarity and understanding, anticipating what the audience needs and wants to know.You understand how a range of tones, including humour, is key to strong radio. You are enthusiastic about experimenting with talk formats, and aren\xe2\x80\x99t afraid to take risks.You are comfortable going on the air live at any time, reacting to breaking news and changing events, updating and remaking the program as needed.You are familiar with digital video platforms and are excited about cross promoting the show and combining video with current affairs content.You lead by example in promoting the values of an inclusive and respectful work culture. You uphold CBC\xe2\x80\x99s journalistic standards and practices.You will play a key role in helping us connect with, and grow, new audiences through the range of stories and perspectives presented on the program, as well as through regular outreach and public events.Key Tasks:As an editorial leader in CBC Newfoundland and Labrador, you will ensure the program mandate for \xe2\x80\x9cThe St John\xe2\x80\x99s Morning Show\xe2\x80\x9d is always reflected in the program.
