Overview

Murrietas Bar and Grill is seeking a friendly, professional Host/Host to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

The ideal candidate will excel in guest relations, possess strong communication skills, and have experience in food service and hospitality. This role is essential in ensuring smooth seating arrangements, managing guest flow, and providing exceptional customer service to enhance the overall dining experience.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage wait times efficiently Escort guests to their tables and present menus with enthusiasm Answer phone inquiries with professional phone etiquette and assist with reservations or questions Coordinate with the restaurant staff to ensure timely seating and service Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host station Handle guest concerns or special requests courteously and promptly Support guest relations by providing information about the restaurant, menu items, and specials

The Ideal Candidate Must Have:

Experience as a Host in a premium venue Experience with Seven Rooms, Guest Centre, OpenTable, Table Check, ResPAK or similar Immaculate presentation and exceptional communication Demonstrated experience in exceeding guest expectations Adaptable and able to multi-task effectively Strong work ethic and a "can do" attitude Outgoing personality and genuine interest in the day-to-day operations Excellent attention to detail and time management Availability to work a rotating roster including opening and closing shifts, weekends and public holidays

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 30 per week
