: We are seeking four skilled and motivated Host/Hostess/Expos to join the BFF team! The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing an exceptional guest atmosphere and have a keen eye for detail and presentation.
Responsibilities
: Greeting guests s as they walk into the restaurant, Helping guests with reservations and guiding them to their table, Giving guests accurate wait time estimates and seating them in the waiting area, Providing guests with menus and answering any initial questions they may have, Showcasing the daily specials, Optimizing seating at different tables to ensure even workload for serving staff, answering phone calls and booking reservations with large parties, Deliver orders promptly and ensure guest satisfaction, Provide menu recommendations, Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order preparation, Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly with the MOD, Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host and expo area, Conduct scheduled washroom checks, Handle cash transactions and operate a POS system, Monitor expo inventory and restock as needed, Adhere to all health and food safety standards/regulations.
Experience
: Previous experience in restaurant hosting/expediting is preferred, Knowledge of safe food handling and food safety regulations, Basic math skills for bill calculation, Ability to work effectively in a team environment, Strong communication and guest service skills, Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced restaurant environment,
