Job Summary:

Cornerstone College of Alberta is seeking a dedicated and experienced Hospitality Management Instructor to join our faculty. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality, excellent teaching skills, and a passion for student success. The instructor will be responsible for delivering engaging lectures, facilitating hands-on learning experiences, and preparing students for careers in the hospitality industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver lectures, lessons, and practical training in Hospitality Management. Design course materials, assessments, and instructional activities aligned with industry standards. Provide mentorship and academic support to students. Integrate real-world case studies, role-playing exercises, and hands-on projects into the curriculum. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hospitality industry trends and best practices. Assess and evaluate students' progress through exams, assignments, and practical demonstrations. Collaborate with faculty and industry professionals to enhance the program's curriculum. Ensure compliance with college policies and accreditation requirements. Participate in faculty meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications & Requirements:

A

Master's degree

in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferable. A

minimum of three (3) years of professional experience

in the hospitality industry (e.g., hotel management, tourism, event planning, restaurant management). Previous teaching experience at the post-secondary level is preferred. Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in using learning management systems (LMS) and online teaching tools is an asset. Ability to engage and inspire students through interactive and experiential learning techniques.
