The Role
The Hospitality Associate plays a key role in delivering a premium, consistent guest experience across our restaurant, cafe, lounge, and event spaces. You'll bring a warm, professional presence to the floor, ensure smooth front-of-house service, and support events and daily club operations as needed.
This role is ideal for someone who loves hospitality, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in helping create a welcoming, high-end experience for members and guests.
Expected Outcomes:
Deliver a consistently premium guest experience
Greet every member/guest within 30 seconds with warm, professional energy.
Anticipate needs (water refills, clearing plates, checking satisfaction) without being asked.
Make confident menu and beverage recommendations aligned with guest preferences.
Handle concerns calmly and escalate to a supervisor when needed.
Run smooth, accurate front-of-house service during all shifts.
Take orders correctly and enter them into the POS with zero missed modifiers.
Time food and drink delivery so tables receive items promptly and in the right sequence.
Communicate clearly with the kitchen/bar to prevent delays or errors.
Stay organized in high-volume periods, prioritizing service flow and table touchpoints.
Maintain service spaces that are always clean, stocked, and presentation-ready.
Reset and sanitize tables, bar, cafe, and lounge areas to COURTX standards throughout the shift.
Complete side duties (polishing, restocking, condiments, napkins, glassware) proactively.
Monitor cleanliness and immediately address spills, clutter, or disorganization.
Support opening/closing checklists fully and on time.
Support events and club operations to elevate the total member experience.
Assist with event setup/teardown (tables, service stations, signage, F&B staging).
Deliver attentive event service while staying aligned with timing/run-of-show.
Stay flexible across departments during busy club moments (guest direction, small ops tasks).
Represent COURTX professionally in all spaces, reinforcing a cohesive club vibe.
Skills/Experience Required
1+ years of experience in hospitality, food & beverage, or guest service (restaurant, cafe, lounge, hotel, or event setting).
Strong customer service instincts - you enjoy making people feel cared for.
Ability to stay composed, organized, and efficient in a busy, high-standard environment.
Comfort using POS systems and handling cash/credit transactions.
Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and events.
Ability to stand for long periods.
Smart Serve certification is an asset
