Position Summary

We are seeking a

Hospitality Aide

to support the day-to-day operations of our Independent Living residence. This position is ideal for someone who is friendly, dependable, and able to work independently. As the first point of contact at the front desk, you will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort and satisfaction of our residents, visitors, and prospective clients. This role blends customer service with hospitality and light housekeeping tasks.

Key Responsibilities

Front Desk & Resident Relations (Day & Evening Shifts):

Greet and assist residents, visitors, and guests with warmth and professionalism Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a courteous and helpful manner Book tours, appointments, and follow-ups for prospective residents Provide information about our community, amenities, and services Assist residents with requests such as maintenance issues or activity sign-ups Help coordinate and communicate daily and special events

Hospitality & Light Housekeeping (Evening Shifts Primarily):

Set and prep dining room tables ahead of meal service Assist servers with food and drink service during mealtimes as needed Light cleaning and sanitation of common areas (lobby, lounges, mail area, etc.) Support light laundry duties (e.g., linens and towels) Complete regular walkthroughs to ensure cleanliness and resident safety

Qualifications

Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or front desk roles is an asset Comfortable interacting with seniors in a respectful, compassionate manner Strong communication and interpersonal skills Basic computer skills (email, calendar scheduling, phones) Able to multitask and prioritize with a service-oriented mindset Physically able to complete light housekeeping and laundry tasks Clear criminal record check (vulnerable sector) required

Schedule
