GardaWorld is currently looking for experienced Hospital Site Manager to join our team. The candidate would be responsible for managing contract operations, a team of security guards at the hospital, as well as overseeing call response and day-to-day activities to ensure compliance with applicable laws, procedures and position directives.

Position: Hospital Site Manager (Full time)

Location: 980 Oliver Rd, Thunder Bay

Hourly Pay Rate: $24.50

Schedule: Mon- Fri 730-330 (Must be flexible)

What does a Security site Manager do in Thunderbay

Ensure the safety of people and property and keeping the peace

Manage on-site security team (approx 30 staff)

Create and update schedules

Patrol inside and outside the hospital to ensure the safety of people and property and the maintenance of order

Train, retain and develop your security team

Interface with client operations to ensure smooth business

Produce coverage reports and site data

Enforce property rules, city bi-laws, and other applicable laws

Deter and respond to incidents on property

Maintain a presence to ensure the safety and security of all persons on site

Complete reports on a regular basis

Respond to various types of emergencies (fire alarms/elevator entrapments/medical emergencies)

Protect patients, member of the public, hospital staff, as well as their belongings and public assets

Intervene during emergency / crisis situations

Operate video surveillance equipment to supervise activity within a facility

Qualifications to become a Security Site Manager in Thunderbay

A valid security guard license and first aid card

Minimum 2 years of managerial/supervisory experience

Valid Security Guard license preferred or able to obtain within 3 months

Above average communication skills (written and oral)

First Aid and CPR certification preferred

Proactive, attention-to-detail, self-motivated and team player

Professional attitude and ability to maintain and promote harmonious relationships with clients and staff
