We take pride in our dedicated and skilled team, which includes three full time compassionate DVM's and ten plus team members. We are committed to providing exceptional veterinary care in a welcoming, supportive and collaborative environment.The Opportunity: We are seeking a Hospital Manager to oversee all administrative functions of hospital. This full-time, permanent role, working 40 hours per week, is ideal for someone with strong leadership, interpersonal, and technical skills, who is focused on business growth.What You'll Do:

  • Actively manage team performance by setting clear goals and fostering a high-performing team to ensure exceptional service.
  • Provide coaching and development to team members, ensuring they have the necessary skills to excel in their roles.
  • Resolve client issues and escalations quickly and oversee client follow-up communications and procedures.
  • Partner with the Managing DVM to address staffing needs, including hiring, training, reviewing, and performance management of team members.
  • Take ownership of hospital operations such as creating and maintaining hospital policy compliance, monitoring computer systems to resolve issues, and managing vendor relationships.
  • Facilitate employee onboarding, training, and development, and annual performance reviews.
  • Manage conflict in a timely manner and maintain a positive employee experience and team culture.
  • Ensure payroll is completed and submitted for all hospital staff.
  • Manage hospital inventory and control facility and administrative costs, continually driving revenue and managing costs to budget.
  • Drive client visits through strategic communication and local marketing efforts.
  • Utilize and implement the NVA Incentive Bonus Plan to meet hospital goals.
  • Perform other duties essential to the performance of the hospital as assigned.
What You Bring:
  • Proven experience leading teams and managing day-to-day operations.
  • Proficient in navigating ambiguity and making well-informed decisions, willing to take calculated risks, and remaining resilient during times of uncertainty.
  • Comprehensive understanding of operational strategy and adept at aligning team goals with organizational objectives.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent organization and time management abilities.
  • A love for animals and a love for people who love them.
It's a Bonus If You Have:
  • Experience in the veterinary, dental, healthcare, or hospitality management industries.
  • Skills in payroll, budgeting, and annual goal setting.
  • Familiarity with MS Suite, Ceridian Dayforce, and PIMS software.
