We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Horticulturist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for plants and landscaping, with a strong understanding of horticultural practices. This role involves managing and maintaining various landscapes, ensuring optimal growth and health of plants, and utilizing both power and hand tools effectively. The Horticulturist will play a crucial role in creating aesthetically pleasing environments while promoting sustainable gardening practices.
Responsibilities
Required to have a license and a vehicle to get to clients location. Conduct landscape maintenance, including planting, pruning, weeding, and mulching to ensure healthy plant growth. Utilize power tools and hand tools for various horticultural tasks, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
Experience
Proven experience in landscape maintenance or horticulture is preferred. Familiarity with the use of power tools such as recipicating saw, hedge trimmers, and blowers Proficient in using hand tools for planting and garden maintenance tasks. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while performing physical tasks.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
