About the Opportunity
We're looking for innovative individuals who can bring fresh perspectives to our team. We're currently hiring for a full time Horticulturist/Gardener to join our team.
Payrate:
$16.00-$25.00Key Responsibilities:
Conduct site assessments to determine soil conditions, plant health, and landscape requirements Design and implement landscaping plans, including plant selection and layout Install and maintain a wide variety of plants, trees, shrubs, and hardscaping elements Monitor plant health, diagnose issues, and apply appropriate treatments Manage irrigation systems to ensure efficient water use Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and provide expert advice on plant selection and landscape design Maintain records of plant care, maintenance schedules, and project timelines Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and new horticultural techniques
Qualifications:
Degree or certification in Horticulture, Landscape Design, Botany, or a related field preferred Proven experience in horticulture, landscape design, or landscape maintenance Strong knowledge of plant species, soil types, and pest management Proficient in the use of landscaping tools and equipment Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Valid driver's license and ability to travel to different job sites
