Monkey Business Day Homes is a licensed day home agency in Medicine Hat, dedicated to providing families with high-quality childcare options. Our mission is to support licensed day home programs throughout Medicine Hat and surrounding areas with reliable and dedicated educators.

Summary

We are seeking a Home Visitor to join our team in Medicine Hat. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that our day home programs meet the highest standards of care and support for children and families. This is a part time position set at 25 hours per month with potential for that number to increase. Schedule is largely flexible and can work around another job if needed.

Responsibilities

Conduct regular visits to licensed day homes to monitor compliance and quality of care Provide support and guidance to educators and families Assess the needs of children and recommend appropriate resources Document observations and report on program effectiveness Assist in training and development of educators Promote best practices in early childhood education Ensure adherence to licensing regulations and standards

Qualifications

Level 3 ECE Certificate required Proven experience working with children, preferably in a childcare setting Strong understanding of early childhood development principles Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Familiarity with regulations governing childcare services is an asset
