Home Support Worker
Job Description
I'm looking for someone to help me out with my homecare. I'm a queer and non-binary person who with disabilities. The rates and hours are set by NL Health Services under their self-managed care policies.
The work is mostly to cover the absence of the primary home support worker and/or to coordinate shifts.
Currently, shifts are up to 2 hours twice a day 7 days a week subject to review by the social worker.
The job is nonunion at the moment.
Current wage is $17.05 + 4% vacation pay an hour and NLHS does not currently allow for any benefits outside of those that are legally mandated.
Note: Interview is just a quick meeting.
