We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Support Workers to join our Team. Our employees will provide essential assistance to individuals in need of support, ensuring their comfort and well-being.

Job duties will include helping our clients with daily activities, promoting independence, and delivering high-quality care in clients homes.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of patient care practices.

Duties

Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients. When required, assist clients with mobility. Maintain accurate records of client progress and report any changes in condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals. Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients by adhering to health and safety protocols. Engage in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills related to senior care, home care, and hospice care.

Experience

Previous experience in senior care, home care, assisted living, or nursing home settings is preferred. Familiarity with medical terminology is beneficial for effective communication within healthcare teams. Experience in patient care or case management will be considered an asset. A compassionate demeanor and the ability to handle challenging situations with patience and empathy are essential for success in this role.
